5 Praises:
- I have had amazing opportunities while being home to share about what I have been doing in Asia, some places were quite unexpected! I thank Dad for these open doors and the relationships that have come from these opportunities.
- It has been AMAZING to be home with family and sharing with them. I have loved being able to drink my warm coffee in the morning, watch the news, walk the dog, normal American things, right? I have also been able to watch my nieces two days a week, such a stinking blessing. Those girls bring such joy to my heart and are definitely the hardest to say ‘see ya later’ to.
- Having tons of time with Dad. While it has been quite a busy season here at home, its has been a time of learning and growing with Papa! It’s been giving me a clearer vision of whats next and joy and excitement and I look forward to heading back in just two weeks!
- It’s been a challenge to study language almost every day, but I know I will be thankful that I did when I get back! So although studying language is hard and definitely kicking my butt most days, I’m thankful for the technology and ability to learn it!
- I get to go back. Some days are more challenging thinking about going back and saying ‘see ya later’ to family, but I have never been more excited about the upcoming events. Switching to teaching in an international academy, taking part in another 3 month training that will better equip me in my gifting and understand how to more effectively use them wherever Dad may call me, and lastly seeing all my friends again!
5 Requests:
- For continued growth in my relationship with Dad. That I would also have courage and strength to be obedient to him, knowing and believing that He has been and will continue to be Faithful.
- Ask for grace as I go back to my ‘normal’. That I would have patience with myself and I begin to implement new things that the Father is calling me to.
- Ask for healing in my body. As I have been having stomach issues for over two years now, it is not beginning to take over other ares of my life. The doctor is recommending that I cut out both gluten and dairy, my two favorite food groups. It will be a bigger and more challenging adjustment as I return to Asia. Ask that I am able to get all the nutrients I need and learn how to be a better cook! Hoping I just kind of absorb my moms gift in that area. :)
- For all support to be accounted for, yes financially, but also emotionally, in my walk with Papa, and for safety in all I do.
- For Dad to begin preparing my heart for the training I will be taking from May-August. Ask that through this training my heart to be open and receptive to all He has in store for me.
- Sorry, I have a 6th. Ask that I would continue to be able to learn and acquire both language and culture for effectiveness in the work Dad is calling me to do and continue doing.
