My Work
I look forward to bringing Joy and Love along with using the gifts I have been given this upcoming year! Although Asia is probably not the first place I would name, being so far from family and all, I am THRILLED to have been given this opportunity. Although my main purpose is teaching, I hope to show Love to those I encounter. Here is a brief preview of what I will be doing in the upcoming year:
English as a Second Language, ESL: During my stay, I will be teaching ESL. While in the classroom I will be co-teaching with one or two other local teachers. An average teaching day will consist of seven, forty minute classes with an average of forty children to a class. I will be required to teach four terms per academic year. The Spring and Autumn terms are taught from 8:30 to 4:30 on Saturdays and Sundays, while the Summer and Winter terms are taught Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 4:30.

Hosting Friends: As different groups of Family come in to our city, I enjoy showing them around and setting up opportunities for them to meet and build relationships with locals there!
